WHAT TO EXPECT
We believe strongly along with the apostle Paul that, “All things are from God, through God, and to God.” Therefore, we come together on Sundays to celebrate who the Lord is and what he has done in our lives. Our highest aim in our services is the magnification of God’s name and we think that we can all agree on that. We also believe that no matter what your background might be, you will find our services a time where you can worship God in Spirit and in truth. Our music is a blend of traditional church music and contemporary Christian music.

We are committed to the public preaching of God’s Word so you can expect to have the Bible opened every week. Dr. Witter has a passion for exposing the beauty, depth, and practicality of the Word of God and expresses that from the pulpit.

We are a multi-generational church. We know you will find someone in the same stage of life as you and have the chance to make a connection with them.

For everything else, this phrase might answer your question, we say around here all the time, “Come as you are, go away changed.” We do our very best to focus on the Lord and the things that matter in the scope of eternity. We’ll be the first to admit we aren’t perfect in this attempt, but we are working towards it through the power of the Spirit and the grace of God. We want each person that attends First Baptist Church to go away changed because of their refreshed relationship with the Savior not because of our flavor of church.
